Upro Sirop 100 mL (ibuprofen 2 g/100 mL, i.e. 100 mg/5 mL)

Indication

Ibuprofen syrup used to relieve fever and mild to moderate pain in children.

Ingredients

• Ibuprofen 2 g/100 mL

Direction

Oral use, 3 to 4 times a day. Children 1 to 2 years: 50 to 100 mg (3 to 5 mL). Children 3 to 6 years: 100 to 150 mg (5 to 8 mL). Children 7 to 10 years: 150 to 200 mg (8 to 10 mL). Children 11 to 14 years: 200 to 250 mg (10 to 13 mL). Shake before use; do not exceed the stated dose.

Side effects

• May cause gastrointestinal upset such as stomach pain
• nausea or heartburn.
• Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use and stop if irritation or allergy occurs.

Precautions

• Do not use in children with a known allergy to ibuprofen
• aspirin or other NSAIDs.
• Use with caution in children with a history of stomach ulcer
• asthma
• or kidney problems.
