For oral use, place the probe tip under the tongue near the heat pocket. For axillary use, wipe the underarm dry and place the probe tip under the arm with the thermometer perpendicular to the body, then hold the arm across the chest until the reading is complete. Model T15SL. Battery DC 1.5 V (LR41).
