Indication

Bromazepam is a benzodiazepine used for the symptomatic treatment of severe and/or disabling anxiety. It is a quadrisectable tablet allowing the daily dose to be divided into fractions.

Ingredients

• Bromazepam 6 mg

Direction

Take by mouth as prescribed by a physician. The scored (quadrisectable) tablet can be divided into quarters; treatment begins with the lowest effective dose without exceeding the maximum. Prescription is limited to about 12 weeks including tapering. Reduce the dose gradually before stopping.

• Muscle weakness

• Dependence and withdrawal symptoms with prolonged use

• May be habit
• forming
• use only as prescribed and for the shortest time needed
• Do not drive: this medicine can impair the ability to drive or operate machinery
• Avoid alcohol during treatment
• Use with caution in the elderly and in respiratory or hepatic impairment
• avoid in pregnancy and breastfeeding unless advised by a doctor
