Indication

A third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic (cefpodoxime) as an orange-flavoured powder for oral suspension for paediatric use. Used to treat bacterial infections such as respiratory tract infections, ear, nose and throat infections, urinary tract infections and skin infections, as directed by a physician.

Ingredients

• Cefpodoxime Proxetil USP equivalent to Cefpodoxime 100 mg per 5 mL

Direction

Reconstitute before use: shake the bottle to loosen the powder, slowly add boiled and cooled water up to the ring mark on the bottle and shake vigorously, adding more water if needed to reach the mark. Dose as directed by the physician. Shake well before each use. Store the reconstituted suspension in a refrigerator and use within 7 days of preparation. Do not freeze.
