Indication
- Treatment of folate deficiency - Prevention of neural tube defects - Macrocytic anemia - Nutritional supplementation during pregnancy - Prevention of complications in high-risk pregnancies
Ingredients
- Folic Acid (Vitamin B9)
Direction
Take one tablet orally daily with a glass of water. It is generally recommended to take the tablet at the same time each day, with or without food.
Side effects
- Nausea
- Abdominal bloating
- Allergic skin reactions
- Loss of appetite
Precautions
- May mask Vitamin B12 deficiency
- Exclude pernicious anemia before use
- Interaction with certain anticonvulsant medications
- Monitor for hypersensitivity reactions
