Adipin 10 10 mg

Indication

Treatment of high blood pressure (hypertension) and the prevention of chest pain (angina) caused by coronary artery disease. It works by relaxing and widening the blood vessels so blood flows more easily.

Ingredients

• Amlodipine besilate BP equivalent to Amlodipine 10 mg

Direction

Take one tablet orally once daily, or as directed by a physician, with or without food and preferably at the same time each day. Swallow whole with water. Do not stop suddenly without medical advice.

Side effects

• Ankle or leg swelling (oedema)
• Headache
• dizziness or flushing
• Tiredness and palpitations
• Nausea or abdominal discomfort

Precautions

• Tell your doctor if you have severe low blood pressure
• heart failure or liver problems
• Rise slowly from sitting or lying to reduce dizziness
• Not usually recommended in pregnancy or breastfeeding unless prescribed
• Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use and stop if irritation or allergy occurs
