Indication
- Bacterial infections - Acne vulgaris - Malaria prophylaxis - Respiratory tract infections - Urinary tract infections - Lyme disease
Ingredients
- Doxycycline
Direction
Take orally with a full glass of water. Remain upright for at least 30 minutes after administration to prevent esophageal irritation.
Side effects
- Nausea and vomiting
- Diarrhea
- Photosensitivity (sun sensitivity)
- Esophageal ulceration
- Vaginal candidiasis (yeast infection)
Precautions
- Avoid use during pregnancy
- Not recommended for children under 8
- May cause permanent tooth discoloration
- Risk of severe photosensitivity
- Avoid taking with dairy or antacids
