Indication
For the treatment of dermal fungal infections such as tinea pedis, tinea cruris and tinea corporis caused by Trichophyton rubrum, Trichophyton mentagrophytes, Epidermophyton floccosum or Microsporum canis, and candidiasis due to Candida albicans, especially where inflammation and itching are present.
Ingredients
- Clotrimazole 1% w/w
- Betamethasone dipropionate equivalent to Betamethasone 0.1% w/w
Direction
Should be applied sparingly and rubbed gently into the cleansed affected area and surrounding skin two times daily until improvement occurs, or as directed by the physician.
Side effects
- Local burning
- stinging or irritation at the application site
- Itching
- redness or dryness of the skin
- With prolonged use: skin thinning
- stretch marks or changes in skin colour
- Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use and stop if irritation or allergy occurs
Precautions
- For external use only
- do not use in or around the eyes
- Avoid prolonged use and application on large areas or the face unless directed by a physician
- Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding without medical advice
