Pi Yen Chin 0.1% (1:1000)

Indication

Relief of ocular congestion (red, bloodshot eyes) and conjunctivitis, and of nasal congestion. Used as eye and nose drops.

Ingredients

• Naphazoline hydrochloride 10 mg/10 mL (0.1%)

Direction

For the nose: 1 to 3 drops each time, 3 times daily. For the eyes: 1 to 2 drops each time, 2 times daily.

Side effects

• Transient stinging
• burning or dryness may occur on application.
• Prolonged or excessive use can cause rebound congestion.
• Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use and stop if irritation or allergy occurs.

Precautions

• Do not use continuously for more than a few days to avoid rebound congestion.
• Use with caution in patients with glaucoma
• high blood pressure
• heart disease or hyperthyroidism.
• Avoid contamination of the dropper tip and do not share the bottle.
