Indication

For the treatment of androgen-dependent conditions in women such as moderate to severe acne, seborrhoea and mild hirsutism, and provides oral contraception in women who require such treatment.

Ingredients

• Cyproterone acetate 2 mg
• Ethinylestradiol 0.035 mg

Direction

Take one tablet by mouth at the same time each day for 21 days, followed by a 7-day tablet-free interval before starting the next pack. Begin as directed by a doctor.

• Weight changes
• mood changes
• reduced libido
• Rare but serious: blood clots (deep vein thrombosis
• pulmonary embolism)
• seek urgent care for leg swelling
• chest pain or breathlessness

Precautions

• Not for use in pregnancy or if there is a history of blood clots
• stroke
• or certain cancers
• Higher clot risk than most standard combined pills
• discuss risks with your doctor
• Increased clot risk in smokers
• especially women over 35
• Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use and stop if irritation or allergy occurs
