Nexium 40 mg

Indication

Nexium (esomeprazole) is a proton pump inhibitor that reduces stomach acid. It is used for gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GERD), healing and maintenance of erosive reflux oesophagitis, treatment and prevention of NSAID-associated ulcers, Helicobacter pylori eradication and Zollinger-Ellison syndrome.

Ingredients

• Esomeprazole 40 mg (as esomeprazole magnesium trihydrate)

Direction

Swallow the tablets whole with water, or disperse in non-carbonated water; do not chew or crush the pellets in the tablets. The usual dose is 40 mg once daily, or as directed by a doctor.
