Indication
- Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus management - Reduced risk of cardiovascular death - Treatment of heart failure - Chronic kidney disease management - Glycemic control in adults
Ingredients
- Empagliflozin
Direction
Take one tablet orally once daily in the morning, with or without food. Swallow the tablet whole with water.
Side effects
- Urinary tract infections
- Genital yeast infections
- Increased frequency of urination
- Thirst
- Nausea
- Low blood pressure
Precautions
- Risk of diabetic ketoacidosis
- Monitor renal function regularly
- Risk of volume depletion/hypotension
- Severe urinary tract infection risk
- Risk of genital mycotic infections
- Do not use in Type 1 Diabetes
