Indication

- Respiratory tract infections - Skin and soft tissue infections - Chlamydia and Syphilis - Erythrasma - Diphtheria and Pertussis prophylaxis

Ingredients

Erythromycin

Direction

Take orally on an empty stomach, preferably 1 hour before or 2 hours after meals. If severe stomach upset occurs, it may be taken with food as directed by a physician.

Side effects

Nausea and vomiting
Abdominal cramps
Diarrhea
Loss of appetite
Reversible hearing loss (high doses)

Precautions

Hepatic (liver) dysfunction
History of QT prolongation
Myasthenia gravis
Potentially severe drug interactions
Risk of Clostridioides difficile
associated diarrhea
