Indication

- Respiratory tract infections - Skin and soft tissue infections - Chlamydia and Syphilis - Erythrasma - Diphtheria and Pertussis prophylaxis

Ingredients

• Erythromycin

Direction

Take orally on an empty stomach, preferably 1 hour before or 2 hours after meals. If severe stomach upset occurs, it may be taken with food as directed by a physician.

Side effects

• Nausea and vomiting
• Abdominal cramps
• Diarrhea
• Loss of appetite
• Reversible hearing loss (high doses)

Precautions

• Hepatic (liver) dysfunction
• History of QT prolongation
• Myasthenia gravis
• Potentially severe drug interactions
• Risk of Clostridioides difficile
• associated diarrhea
