Indication
- Chronic hyperuricemia - Management of gout symptoms - Prevention of uric acid crystals - Long-term gout maintenance therapy
Ingredients
- Febuxostat
Direction
Take one tablet orally once daily with or without food. Use consistently at the same time each day for best results.
Side effects
- Elevated liver enzymes
- Nausea
- Arthralgia (joint pain)
- Skin rash
- Dizziness
Precautions
- Monitor for cardiovascular events
- Periodic liver function testing required
- May cause initial gout flares
- Not for asymptomatic hyperuricemia
- History of hypersensitivity to Febuxostat
