Indication

- Serious bacterial infections - Skin and soft tissue infections - Lower respiratory tract infections - Bone and joint infections - Intra-abdominal infections - Pelvic inflammatory disease - Dental infections

Ingredients

• Clindamycin

Direction

Take orally with a full glass of water to avoid throat irritation. Typically taken 3 to 4 times daily as prescribed by a physician.

Side effects

• Diarrhea
• Abdominal pain
• Nausea and vomiting
• Skin rash
• Esophageal ulcers if taken without water

Precautions

• Risk of Clostridioides difficile
• associated diarrhea
• History of gastrointestinal disease (colitis)
• Monitor liver and kidney function
• Discontinue if severe diarrhea occurs
• Not for treating viral infections
