Indication
- Gastric and duodenal ulcers - Gastroesophageal reflux disease - Zollinger-Ellison syndrome - Prevention of ulcer recurrence
Ingredients
- Cimetidine
Direction
Take orally with water, usually twice daily or at bedtime as directed. Separate administration from antacids by at least one hour.
Side effects
- Headache
- Dizziness
- Diarrhea
- Drowsiness
- Gynecomastia
Precautions
- Avoid during pregnancy and breastfeeding
- Reduce dose in kidney impairment
- Avoid taking simultaneously with antacids
- Numerous drug interactions exist
