Indication
- Acute gout attacks - Gout prophylaxis - Familial Mediterranean Fever - Acute pericarditis
Ingredients
- Colchicine
Direction
Take orally with water as prescribed. For acute gout, it is most effective when taken at the first sign of a flare.

- Nausea
- Vomiting
- Abdominal pain
- Bone marrow suppression (long
- term)
Precautions
- Narrow therapeutic index medication
- Renal or hepatic impairment
- Avoid grapefruit and grapefruit juice
- Contraindicated with strong CYP3A4 inhibitors
- Risk of toxicity with overdose
