Indication
- Asthma maintenance therapy - Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) - Prevention of exercise-induced bronchospasm - Reduction of respiratory exacerbations
Ingredients
- Budesonide and Formoterol Fumarate
Direction
Inhale through the mouth usually twice daily (morning and evening). Rinse your mouth with water after each use to prevent fungal infections.
Side effects
- Oral candidiasis (thrush)
- Throat irritation or hoarseness
- Palpitations or rapid heartbeat
- Muscle tremors
- Headache
Precautions
- Not for acute asthma attacks
- Rinse mouth after every use
- Caution in patients with tuberculosis
- Monitor for systemic corticosteroid effects
- Use with caution in cardiovascular disease
