Indication

Cefixime is a third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic used to treat susceptible bacterial infections such as respiratory tract infections, ear, nose and throat infections, and urinary tract infections.

Ingredients

• Cefixime (as cefixime trihydrate) 100 mg per 5 mL

Direction

On medical prescription only. Reconstitute the dry syrup: add 10 mL of water, shake for 30 seconds, then add 10 mL more water and shake again for 30 seconds. Shake well before each use. Take as directed by a doctor. After reconstitution the syrup may be kept for 7 days at room temperature or refrigerated; discard the unused portion after 7 days.
