Indication

Co-trimoxazole (sulphamethoxazole + trimethoprim) is an antibacterial used to treat susceptible infections such as respiratory tract, urinary tract, and ear infections.

Ingredients

• Sulphamethoxazole 200 mg per 5 mL
• Trimethoprim 40 mg per 5 mL

Direction

For oral use. Shake well before use. Take as directed by a doctor. Refer to the package insert for dosage and other information.

Side effects

• May cause nausea

• or skin rash. Discontinue treatment immediately if a skin rash or any sign of adverse reaction occurs.
