Indication
- Type 2 diabetes mellitus - Glycemic control in adults - Prevention of diabetic complications
Ingredients
- Gliclazide
Direction
Take orally once daily with breakfast. Tablets must be swallowed whole and not crushed or chewed.
Side effects
- Hypoglycemia
- Nausea or indigestion
- Abdominal pain
- Skin rash
- Transient visual disturbances
Precautions
- Risk of hypoglycemia (low blood sugar)
- Severe renal or hepatic impairment
- Adherence to regular meal times
- Monitor blood glucose levels regularly
- Avoid use during pregnancy/breastfeeding
