Indication

A lipid-lowering statin used to reduce elevated total cholesterol, LDL-C, apolipoprotein B and triglyceride levels in patients with primary hypercholesterolemia and to lower the risk of cardiovascular events.

Ingredients

• Simvastatin

Direction

Take one tablet daily in the evening, or as directed by a physician. Swallow whole with water.

Side effects

• May cause headache
• muscle pain
• constipation
• or elevated liver enzymes. Report any unexplained muscle pain
• tenderness or weakness. Consult a doctor or pharmacist if any side effects occur.

Precautions

• Inform your doctor of any liver disease
