Amdocal Plus 50 5 mg / 50 mg

Indication

Treatment of high blood pressure (hypertension) and angina in patients where combined amlodipine (calcium channel blocker) and atenolol (beta-blocker) therapy is appropriate.

Ingredients

• Amlodipine (as amlodipine besilate BP) 5 mg
• Atenolol BP 50 mg

Direction

One tablet once daily, or as directed by the physician. To be dispensed only on the prescription of a registered physician.

Side effects

• May cause ankle swelling
• tiredness
• cold hands and feet
• or slow heartbeat. If side effects occur
• consult a doctor or pharmacist.

Precautions

• Not for use in asthma
• certain heart conditions
• or during pregnancy. Do not stop suddenly. Store below 30 degrees C
• protect from light. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use.
