Indication

Emergency contraceptive to prevent pregnancy after unprotected intercourse or contraceptive failure, taken within 72 hours.

Ingredients

• Levonorgestrel

Direction

Take both tablets as a single dose, or one tablet followed by the second 12 hours later, as soon as possible and within 72 hours of unprotected intercourse. Not for routine contraception.

Side effects

• May include nausea
• abdominal pain
• fatigue
• headache
• dizziness
• breast tenderness and changes in the next menstrual period. Consult a doctor or pharmacist.

Precautions

• For occasional emergency use only
• not a regular contraceptive method. Does not protect against sexually transmitted infections. Seek advice if vomiting occurs within 2 hours or the period is very late. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use.
