Indication
- Hypertension - Angina pectoris - Cardiac arrhythmias - Prevention of migraine headaches
Ingredients
- Verapamil Hydrochloride
Direction
Swallow the capsule whole with water. Usually taken once to three times daily depending on the specific formulation and medical condition.
Side effects
- Constipation
- Dizziness
- Headache
- Nausea
- Swelling of ankles or feet (edema)
Precautions
- Avoid drinking grapefruit juice
- Do not use in severe heart failure
- Monitor for low blood pressure
- Caution with liver or kidney disease
- Risk of slow heart rate (bradycardia)
