Clamoxyl 500 mg

Indication

Treatment of bacterial infections caused by amoxicillin-sensitive organisms, including respiratory tract, ear-nose-throat, urinary tract, skin and soft tissue, and dental infections.

Ingredients

• Amoxicillin

Direction

Take orally. Each capsule contains 500 mg amoxicillin. Adults and children over 40 kg: usually 250 to 500 mg every 8 hours, or as prescribed by a doctor. Complete the full course. Read the leaflet carefully before use.

Side effects

• May cause nausea

• or skin rash. Stop use and consult a doctor or pharmacist if an allergic reaction (rash

Precautions

• Do not use if allergic to penicillins or cephalosporins (allergic risk). Complete the full prescribed course. Use with caution in kidney impairment. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use.
