Clofenac SR 100 mg

Indication

A slow-release non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) for the relief of pain and inflammation in conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, acute musculoskeletal disorders, low back pain and post-operative pain.

Ingredients

• Diclofenac sodium

Direction

Adults: one slow-release tablet (100 mg) once daily, preferably with or after food, or as directed by the physician. Swallow whole; do not crush or chew.

Side effects

• May cause stomach upset
• heartburn
• nausea
• dizziness or headache. Consult a doctor or pharmacist if any side effects occur.

Precautions

• Avoid in patients with active peptic ulcer
• severe heart
• liver or kidney impairment
• or known hypersensitivity to NSAIDs or aspirin. Use with caution during pregnancy. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use.
