Indication

A fixed-dose combination of perindopril arginine (an ACE inhibitor) 5 mg and amlodipine (a calcium channel blocker) 10 mg, used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension) and/or stable coronary artery disease in patients already controlled on the two components taken separately.

Ingredients

• Perindopril arginine
• Amlodipine

Direction

Adults: one tablet once daily, preferably in the morning before a meal, or as prescribed by the physician. Respect the prescribed dose.

Side effects

• May cause ankle swelling (oedema)
• dizziness
• dry cough
• headache
• flushing or low blood pressure. Consult a doctor or pharmacist if any side effects occur.

Precautions

• On doctor's prescription only. Not recommended during pregnancy or breast
• feeding. Contains lactose monohydrate. Use with caution in patients with renal or hepatic impairment. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use.
