Indication

A selective COX-2 inhibitor (NSAID) used for the relief of symptoms of osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis, for the treatment of acute gouty arthritis, and for the relief of acute pain and inflammation.

Direction

Side effects

• Fluid retention and swelling (oedema).
• Increased blood pressure.
• Headache and dizziness.
• Gastrointestinal upset such as indigestion
