Carzepin 200 mg

Indication

Treatment of epilepsy (partial seizures and generalised tonic-clonic seizures), trigeminal neuralgia, and as a mood stabiliser in bipolar disorder. Use as prescribed by a physician.

Ingredients

• Carbamazepine

Direction

For oral use. The dose is individualised by the physician, usually started low and increased gradually. Refer to the package insert and follow your doctor's instructions. Do not stop treatment suddenly.

Side effects

• Dizziness
• drowsiness
• unsteadiness
• nausea and double vision may occur
• especially at the start. Serious skin reactions and blood disorders are rare but possible. Seek medical help and consult a doctor or pharmacist if a rash
• fever or other side effects occur.

• Prescription medicine. Tell your doctor about any liver
• kidney
• heart or blood disorders
• glaucoma
• pregnancy or breastfeeding
