Indication

Prescription film-coated tablet combining sitagliptin and metformin, used to control blood sugar in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus alongside diet and exercise.

Ingredients

• Sitagliptin 50 mg
• Metformin Hydrochloride 500 mg

Direction

As prescribed by the physician; see the package leaflet for detailed information. Usually taken with meals to reduce stomach upset.

Side effects

• May cause nausea
• diarrhoea
