Indication
Mucolytic that loosens mucus and eases cough in respiratory conditions with thick or viscous sputum.
Ingredients
- Carbocysteine
Direction
Adults: usually 2 tablets three times daily, or as directed by a doctor. Swallow with water.
Side effects
- May include nausea
- stomach upset
- diarrhoea
- headache and skin rash. Consult a doctor or pharmacist.
Precautions
- Not for patients with active peptic ulcer. Seek medical advice if symptoms persist or if a rash or allergic reaction occurs. Keep out of reach of children. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use.
