- Potassium deficiency - Hypokalemia treatment - Hypokalemia prevention during diuretic therapy
Ingredients
- Potassium Chloride
Direction
Take orally with a large glass of water during a meal. Swallow tablets whole without crushing or chewing to maintain prolonged release.
Side effects
- Nausea and vomiting
- Abdominal pain
- Diarrhea
- Flatulence
- Hyperkalemia
Precautions
- Kidney function impairment
- High blood potassium levels
- Concurrent use of potassium
- sparing diuretics
- Risk of gastrointestinal ulceration
- Monitor cardiac rhythm in severe cases
