Indication
- Partial-onset seizures - Myoclonic seizures in epilepsy - Generalized tonic-clonic seizures - Adjunctive therapy for epilepsy
Ingredients
- Levetiracetam
Direction
Take tablets orally twice daily with or without food. Swallow tablets whole with a full glass of water.
Side effects
- Somnolence and fatigue
- Dizziness
- Nasopharyngitis
- Irritability and mood swings
- Coordination difficulties
Precautions
- Monitor for suicidal ideation
- Adjust dose for renal impairment
- Do not stop medication abruptly
- Risk of behavioral/psychiatric reactions
