Montiget 4 mg

Indication

Leukotriene receptor antagonist granules used for the prophylaxis and chronic treatment of asthma and for the relief of allergic rhinitis symptoms in children.

Ingredients

• Montelukast sodium equivalent to Montelukast 4 mg

Direction

As directed by the physician. Usual dosage (6 months to 5 years): one sachet (4 mg) daily in the evening. Granules may either be swallowed whole or mixed with a spoonful of soft food. Granules are not to be dissolved in liquid. After opening the sachet, the full dose must be administered within 15 minutes. See package insert for full prescribing information.

• May cause abdominal pain

• thirst
• hyperactivity or sleep disturbance. Consult a doctor or pharmacist.

Precautions

• Not for the reversal of an acute asthma attack. Report any neuropsychiatric changes such as agitation or unusual behaviour. Consult a doctor or pharmacist.
