Indication
- Hypothyroidism (underactive thyroid) - TSH suppression - Management of thyroid cancer - Treatment of non-toxic goiter
Ingredients
- Levothyroxine Sodium
Direction
Take one tablet daily on an empty stomach, 30 to 60 minutes before breakfast. Swallow the tablet whole with a full glass of water.
Side effects
- Heart palpitations
- Nervousness or tremors
- Insomnia or sleep disturbances
- Heat intolerance
- Excessive weight loss
Precautions
- Regular blood monitoring required
- Caution in cardiovascular disease
- Narrow therapeutic index medication
- Avoid taking with calcium/iron
