Proméphac 25 mg

Indication

Symptomatic treatment of various allergic manifestations: rhinitis, conjunctivitis, urticaria. Also used for occasional or transient insomnia.

Ingredients

• Promethazine hydrochloride 25 mg

Direction

For adults and children from 15 years of age. Allergic manifestations: 1-2 tablets per dose, may be repeated after 4 hours, not exceeding 6 tablets per day. Insomnia: 1-2 tablets in the evening, 15-30 minutes before bedtime.

Side effects

• May cause drowsiness
• sedation
• dry mouth
• blurred vision
• constipation and urinary retention. If any side effect occurs or persists

Precautions

• Causes drowsiness — do not drive or operate machinery. Avoid alcohol. Use with caution in patients with glaucoma
• prostatic hypertrophy or epilepsy. Not for children under 15 years. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use if pregnant
• breastfeeding or taking other medicines.
