Norplat 75 mg

Indication

An antiplatelet medicine used to reduce the risk of atherothrombotic events. It is indicated in patients with a history of recent myocardial infarction, recent stroke or established peripheral arterial disease, and in acute coronary syndrome, to help prevent blood clots from forming.

Side effects

• May cause bruising
• bleeding
• nosebleed
• diarrhoea
• abdominal pain or indigestion. Rarely
• serious bleeding or allergic reactions may occur. Consult a doctor or pharmacist if any side effects occur.

Precautions

• Prescription only medicine. Not for use in patients with active pathological bleeding. Inform your doctor before any surgery or dental procedure
• and if you take other medicines that affect bleeding. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use if you are pregnant
• breastfeeding or have liver problems.
