Indication

A dopamine antagonist used to relieve the symptoms of nausea and vomiting, and to treat feelings of fullness, bloating, epigastric discomfort and regurgitation associated with delayed gastric emptying and gastro-oesophageal reflux.

Ingredients

• Domperidone maleate

Direction

As directed by the physician. For oral use. Usually taken before meals.

Side effects

• May cause dry mouth
• headache
• drowsiness or abdominal cramps. Rarely
• breast tenderness or milk secretion
• and heart rhythm changes may occur. Consult a doctor or pharmacist if any side effects occur.

Precautions

• Prescription only medicine. Not recommended in patients with certain heart conditions or with severe liver impairment. Inform your doctor of all other medicines you take
