Indication
Relief of nausea and vomiting, and of the feeling of fullness, bloating and epigastric discomfort caused by delayed gastric emptying.
Ingredients
- Domperidone 10 mg
Direction
Fast-melting tablet: place on the tongue and allow to dissolve, then swallow with or without water. Take 15-30 minutes before meals. Use as directed by a doctor or pharmacist.
Side effects
- May cause dry mouth
- headache
- drowsiness
- diarrhoea
- rash or breast tenderness. Rarely
- heart rhythm disturbances may occur. If you experience any unwanted effects
- consult a doctor or pharmacist.
Precautions
- On medical prescription only. Do not use if you have a known allergy to domperidone
- moderate or severe liver impairment
- a prolactin
- releasing pituitary tumour
- gastrointestinal bleeding or obstruction
- or existing heart rhythm/conduction problems. Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest time. Tell your doctor about all other medicines you take
- especially antifungals
- macrolide antibiotics and medicines affecting heart rhythm. If in doubt
- consult a doctor or pharmacist.
