Tetra C.M.P 250 250 mg

Indication

Broad-spectrum antibiotic used to treat infections caused by susceptible bacteria, including respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, acne, cholera, brucellosis, rickettsial infections and chlamydial infections.

Ingredients

• Tetracycline hydrochloride

Direction

Adults: usually 250 mg to 500 mg every 6 hours. Take on an empty stomach, at least 1 hour before or 2 hours after meals, with a full glass of water. Follow the prescribed dose.

Side effects

• May cause nausea
• vomiting
• diarrhoea
• loss of appetite
• increased sensitivity of the skin to sunlight
• and permanent tooth discolouration in children. If you experience any side effects
• consult a doctor or pharmacist.

Precautions

• Not recommended for children under 8 years
• during pregnancy or breastfeeding
• as it may cause permanent tooth discolouration and affect bone growth. Avoid taking with milk
• dairy products or antacids. Avoid prolonged sun exposure. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use.
