Indication

- Hypercholesterolemia - Hypertriglyceridemia - Prevention of cardiovascular disease - Reduction of heart attack risk - Reduction of stroke risk

Ingredients
  • Atorvastatin
Direction

Take one tablet orally once daily, with or without food. It is most effective when taken at the same time each day.

Side effects
  • Muscle or joint pain
  • Diarrhea
  • Nausea
  • Headache
  • Nasopharyngitis
Precautions
  • Contraindicated during pregnancy and breastfeeding
  • Monitor liver function regularly
  • Avoid excessive alcohol consumption
  • Avoid large amounts of grapefruit juice
  • Report unexplained muscle pain immediately
