Almex 200 mg / 5 ml

Indication

Anthelmintic suspension for the treatment of worm (helminth) infestations, including roundworm, hookworm, whipworm, pinworm (threadworm) and tapeworm, as well as strongyloidiasis. Its liquid form makes it convenient for children.

Ingredients

• Albendazole USP 200 mg per 5 ml

Direction

Shake the bottle well before use. Take by mouth as directed by the physician; may be taken with food. For more details please read the enclosed leaflet.

Side effects

• May cause abdominal pain
• nausea
• vomiting
• diarrhoea
• headache or dizziness. Rarely
• liver enzyme changes
• hair loss or a reduction in blood cell counts may occur with prolonged use. If you experience any unwanted effects
• consult a doctor or pharmacist.

Precautions

• DO NOT USE DURING PREGNANCY. Do not use if you are allergic to albendazole. Tell your doctor if you have liver disease or are breast
• feeding. Liver function and blood counts may need monitoring during prolonged treatment. Shake well before each dose and keep out of reach of children. If in doubt
