Salbular-2 2 mg

Indication

Bronchodilator (short-acting beta-2 agonist) used to relieve and prevent wheezing, shortness of breath and chest tightness caused by asthma, chronic bronchitis and other reversible obstructive airway diseases.

Ingredients

• Salbutamol

Direction

Adults: one 2 mg tablet three to four times daily, or as directed by a doctor. Do not exceed the prescribed dose.

Side effects

• May cause fine tremor of the hands
• headache
• palpitations
• increased heart rate
• nervousness or muscle cramps. Consult a doctor or pharmacist if any side effect occurs or persists.

Precautions

• Use with caution in people with heart disease
• irregular heartbeat
• high blood pressure
• overactive thyroid or diabetes. Not for people allergic to salbutamol. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Seek urgent medical help if breathing difficulty worsens or the usual dose gives less relief than before. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use.
