Quemox 500 mg

Indication

Anthelmintic for the treatment of hookworm, pinworm, whipworm, roundworm and threadworm infestations, in single and/or mixed infestation. Treatment by one tablet.

Direction

The same dosage applies to adults and children above 2 years. Chew 1 tablet as a single dose. A second course of treatment is recommended if the patient is not cured after 2 to 3 weeks. For prevention, one dose every 6 months is advised.

Side effects

• May cause mild abdominal pain
• diarrhoea
• nausea or headache. If severe or unusual reactions occur

Precautions

• Not recommended for children under 2 years or during pregnancy unless directed by a doctor. Follow the prescribed dose. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use.
