Indication

Treatment of bacterial conjunctivitis and other external bacterial infections of the eye caused by levofloxacin-susceptible organisms.

Ingredients

• Levofloxacin 5 mg/ml

Direction

For topical ophthalmic use only. Instill 1-2 drops into the affected eye several times a day, or as directed by the physician. Treatment should not exceed the duration advised by the physician.

Side effects

• May cause transient eye irritation
• burning or stinging
• blurred vision
• itching and redness. Hypersensitivity reactions may occur. If you notice any unusual symptoms

Precautions

• Contraindicated in case of hypersensitivity to levofloxacin or other quinolones. Do not inject. Avoid touching the dropper tip to any surface to prevent contamination. Remove contact lenses before instillation. Prescription medicine — consult a doctor or pharmacist before use.
