Indication

Prevention and treatment of vitamin C deficiency in situations and conditions with an increased requirement or an increased risk of deficiency.

Ingredients

• Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C)

Direction

Adults and children above 12 years. Prevention and treatment of deficiencies: 500–1000 mg daily. Method of administration: one ampoule per day by intravenous injection.

Side effects

• May cause a burning sensation at the injection site
• dizziness or faintness with rapid injection
• nausea
• or headache. High doses may increase the risk of kidney stones. If any unwanted effect appears
• consult a doctor or pharmacist.

Precautions

• Contraindicated in hypersensitivity to any active substance or excipient
• nephrolithiasis or a history of nephrolithiasis
• hyperoxaluria
• severe renal insufficiency or renal failure
• haemochromatosis
