Indication

- Hypertension (high blood pressure) - Diabetic nephropathy in type 2 diabetes - Stroke risk reduction in hypertensive patients - Management of heart failure symptoms - Protection against kidney damage in diabetics

Ingredients

• Losartan Potassium

Direction

Take orally once daily at the same time each day. It can be taken with or without food.

Side effects

• Dizziness or lightheadedness
• Fatigue or weakness
• Upper respiratory tract infection
• Back or leg pain
• Increased serum potassium levels

Precautions

• Contraindicated during pregnancy (fetal toxicity)
• Risk of hyperkalemia (high potassium)
• Monitor kidney function and electrolytes
• Caution in patients with renal stenosis
• Risk of hypotension with diuretic use
