Indication

Topical treatment of herpes simplex virus infections of the skin and lips, including cold sores (herpes labialis) and genital herpes.

Ingredients

• Aciclovir 5% w/w

Direction

Apply a sufficient quantity to the skin, every three hours, six times daily, for seven days. For external use only.

Side effects

• May cause transient burning or stinging
• mild dryness or flaking of the skin
• itching or redness at the application site. If you experience any unusual or persistent symptoms

Precautions

• For external use only. Prescription
• only medicine (POM). Avoid contact with the eyes. Do not use if you are allergic to aciclovir or any component of the cream. Keep out of reach of children. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use if you are pregnant
